Four Good Reasons why you need a Website for your School

  1. The internet is a useful tool for communicating with the school's parents: newsletters, academic programs, sport achievements can all be speedily published, kept up to date, and available 24 hours per day.
  2. In today's competitive world, marketing of schools has become a priority. Complementing other marketing efforts, publishing information on the internet serves as a useful and very cost-effective means of advertising for the school.
  3. Doing business on the internet is now commonplace; buying books, ordering flowers, booking cinema tickets, taking part in auctions, buying and selling shares and bank transactions are everyday occurrences. A school which is not yet on the internet is at a distinct disadvantage. So why not act now?
  4. Computer literacy is essential in today's world. A motor mechanic searching in a catalogue for a spare part, a sales clerk recording a customer's order, and an advocate doing research into case history all need to use a computer. There is a wealth of information on the internet, and anyone using computers will soon find himself using the internet in some or other way, be it for finding information or just for fun. Use of the internet in Tertiary studies is no longer an option - it is essential! We owe it to our children to enable them to master this technology before sending them out into the big, wide world. Their school's internet presence will help them in this respect.
